Brief Summary

GC4W is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and girls through education, advocacy, and global connection. This project centered on analyzing their website performance using Google Analytics and translating complex data into a clear narrative for leadership. The final deliverable included a multi-page dashboard and strategic recommendations designed to support more intentional, insight-led decision making.

The Challenge

The challenge was not access to data, but clarity.
There was an abundance of metrics, but no cohesive story connecting them. Key questions around audience behavior, geographic reach, and engagement were difficult to answer without a structured lens. The task was to simplify without losing depth, and to turn fragmented data into something leadership could actually use.

Behavioral Insight

Analysis revealed a strong international audience with distinct regional engagement patterns, particularly across emerging markets.
User behavior showed high interest in specific content areas, while other pages underperformed despite similar visibility.
Traffic sources indicated opportunities to better leverage social and referral channels, and device data highlighted the importance of optimizing for mobile-first experiences.

Strategic Approach

The project focused on structuring data into a narrative rather than a report. A dashboard system was built to guide the viewer from high-level trends into deeper behavioral insights, using clear segmentation across audience, geography, and acquisition channels.
Each section was paired with concise takeaways and forward-looking recommendations, ensuring the data did not just inform, but direct next steps.

Outcome

The result was a streamlined, executive-ready dashboard paired with actionable recommendations across content strategy, audience targeting, and channel optimization.
The work reframed GC4W’s data from something observational into something strategic, enabling clearer decisions around where to focus resources and how to grow their impact.
