I’m a designer, writer, and strategic communicator based in NYC. I’m interested in the stories, systems, and small choices that shape how people understand an idea, and each other.

I started my career in product and packaging design, and I still love making things. But over time, I realized I’m usually just as interested in the thinking behind the design as I am in the design itself: What are we trying to say? Who are we trying to reach? Why would they care?
That curiosity is what pushed me toward strategic communication, storytelling, and brand strategy.
I grew up in Germany with an American mom and moved around a lot, so questions around identity, belonging, culture, and how we understand one another have probably been in the background of my life longer than I realized.
I don’t have a perfectly neat career story, and I don’t really want to pretend that I do. I like learning, asking questions, making things, writing, presenting, and figuring out how to turn a messy idea into something other people can understand.
Outside of work, I read a lot, love theater, spend too much time in bookstores, bake when I’m bored, and will happily have a much-too-long conversation about a movie that made me feel something.
